After the success of the Gravity Residence in Liverpool, Park Square Residence in Leeds and Oasis Residence in Leeds, the team at YPP are back in Manchester to successfully launch their latest 5-star project under the Live Oasis brand. This building offers a total of 60 luxury apartments just off Deansgate in the heart of the City, this time with a bit of a twist!

Having worked on all of their major projects, we are used to their high standard of delivery covering MEP, IT and site wide security, we were now given the chance to further enhance this already amazing development by introducing the latest in-house automation products under our very own ResiCentral brand. With such a long working history together, there were two main areas we knew we had to get right if Live Oasis was going to meet the exceptionally high expectations of their tenants. The first was ensuring the on-site security video entry and in-room automation were all converged into one easy to use platform, and the second, was to always enhance the residents' experience.

The first was ensuring the on-site security video entry and in-room automation were all converged into one easy to use platform, and the second, was to always enhance the residents' experience.
As a trusted company that has previously worked on a number of large automation projects, we were the only company within the criteria who could integrate each individual home automation solution required at the development in house.
Enabling the creation of individual 'scenarios’, or sequences, that can include light dimming and graduated heating or cooling of the apartment. Residents can also remotely control heating and lighting, and every home features intelligent data for monitoring energy consumption.

Other smart building technologies require users to download and install individual apps to control individual functions, such as music, TV or lighting. ResiCentral brings everything together in a single system, controlled by a single bespoke app or in-room tablet, streamlining automation control and making for a seamless resident experience.
ResiCentral can be configured to work with existing building infrastructures and hardware or integrated into a new building at the design stage. The ResiCentral team provides consultancy services to support consulting engineers at stage one design and liaises with the end client to ensure that the design brief is delivered.
We installed backlit TVs with consoles for the gaming pod, and in the private cinema room, we took the audio-visual systems one step further. Here we installed immersive 3D audio to provide three-dimensional surround sound and ensured the cinema system was fully capable of supporting the latest video formats including 4K. A bespoke, touchscreen automation panel was also installed, allowing full control of all audio and visual outputs.
Last but by no means least, we also installed a media wall in the building’s main reception area, with bespoke, scaling signage software to add a serious pop of personality to the space and deliver that all important first impression.
